25/02/11	Event List - Version v2 Version 2 Of The 2011 Eventlist is now available After a quick check I discovered that the Northern Ireland Stationary Engine Club event on 28th May hadn't been included in the Eventlist so I have now uploaded version 2.
25/02/11	Event List - Version 1 Version 1 Of The 2011 Eventlist is now available. This is hot of the press and hasn't been exhaustively checked yet so please forgive any typo's. Over the coming months there will be various revisions of the eventlist released so don't forget to check back regularly. It's not too late if you would like to add an event to the list just send the details (along with the cheque) to the address at the bottom of the 2011 list.
19/02/11	Event List It was planned to have the Event List posted this weekend but due to an influx of late entries it will not be posted until the start of the week.
12/02/11	February Club Meeting The next Club meeting has been changed to Wednesday 16th February and will be a visit to the Braid Arts Center in Ballymena (Click here for details). We found out about an exhibition on farming life in Mid-Antrim and it was thought that this might be something of interest to club members. The exhibition is billed as reflecting on a way of rural life which is within living memory but which is rapidly disappearing. It was reviewed on the popular ‘Your place and Mine’ Saturday morning radio programme a couple of weeks ago and certainly caught the imagination of the reporter, who found the exhibits of photos, machinery and other artefacts fascinating. It is hoped that the exhibition will be of great interest to club members who come along and doubtlessly will provide plenty of opportunity for reminisces and trips down memory lane to the good old days on the local farms. Entry to the exhibition is free and all club members and friends are warmly invited to come along at 7.30pm meeting at the Braid Arts Center. DON'T FORGET - NO CLUB MEETING ON 23 FEBRUARY

18/01/11	New Committee At our AGM on Wednesday 24 November 2010 Bertie Hamilton and Carol Allen stood down as Chairman and Secretary respectively and were replaced by Alan McAteer and Caroline Patterson (View). We would like to thank both Bertie and Carol for all their work during their time in post and also to wish Alan and Caroline every success in their new roles.

25/09/10	Annual General Meeting Our Annual General Meeting will be 24/11/10 at 8.00pm in the Chimney Corner Supporters Club, Randalstown Road, Antrim. Letters of notification, Minutes of Last Years Meeting and Club Account Summary will be sent to all current Club Members shortly.
25/09/10	October Club Meeting Our October club meeting will be 27/10/10 at 8.00pm in the Chimney Corner Supporters Club, Randalstown Road, Antrim. William Hood will be showing photographs and talking about the World Ploughing Championships which were held in New Zealand in April of this year.

23/09/10	Club Dinner 2010 Our Annual Club Dinner will be held on 22 October 2010 in TRUFFLES Resturant & Guesthouse, 9 New Street, Randalstown, BT41 3AF. Tickets costing £15 will be available for our Chairman Bertie Hamilton or at the September Club Meeting.

14/08/10	Web Hosting Change The transfer of the domain name www.ulstersteam.co.uk to our new Web Host has been completed and so both www.tecu.co.uk and www.ulstersteam.co.uk are valid links to the site. Unfortunately during the changeover of the Ulstersteam link there was an inevitable period of a few days when it was not working as settings were changed, but everything is okay now.
03/07/10	Tractor Road Runs Both our Ladies run and the Annual Tractor run the next day were a great success and the photographs of the events should be on the website soon.
03/07/10	July Club Meeting Our next club meeting will be 28/07/10 at 8.00pm in the Chimney Corner Supporters Club, Randalstown Road, Antrim. This is the first meeting after our Annual Rally on Fri 16th & Sat 17th July so there will be plenty to talk about.

20/03/10	Web Hosting Change For the last two weeks our website has refused to show the updated version of pages that we have uploaded. After the failure of our Host to resolve the situation we have registered a new domain name www.tecu.co.uk and uploaded a copy of the site there. This move is something which we had been planning to do in the future because it will allow us to introduce exciting new content to the site, but circumstances have meant that our plans have been moved forward. The downside to all this means we have to start transferring all the existing pages to the new Host at short notice and not all the photo galleries may be available until the start of the week as Sunday is my day of rest. We would like to apologise to Braid Vally Vintage Enthusiasts and the organisers of the Co. Antrim Ladies Sponsored Tractor Run for not being able to show the updated list online although all paper copies currently being distributed are up to date.

15/02/10	2010 Event List Version 3 Version 3 of the 2010 eventlist is now available. Updated: The organisers of Ring of Gullion Vintage & Harvest Festival – Ploughing Championship at Kilcurry, Co. Louth have changed it's date from 7th March to 14th March. We are still accepting entries for the list so contact David Percy (details below) if you would like your event added.

Following meetings with Ballymena Borough Council we have received confirmation of what space will be available to us for the 2010 rally and we will be discussing this.

06/02/10	Welcome to our new look Website This is the 3rd incarnation of our website since we went online in 2001. I hope that you will find this new version more informative and easier to navigate than our old site. I have reinstated the old photo galleries back to 2002 which had been previously removed. Unlike the previous version this site does not use Javascript for the menu buttons so there is no need to have a simplified version of the site available.
